I was browsing through youtube’s sponsored anime section, and i stumbled upon the critically acclaimed series Gundam 00, and now im blogging about my impressions upon the first 3 episodes.
Celestial Being is an underground organization that plans to prevent war with force…and guns…and big ass mechs called gundams, great plan huh? well, this iteration in the long running Gundam franchise is the most political, but that is no problem for me, the characters are intresting, and the animation is smooth.(it has to be, it was first aired in summer 2008 lol) But the first three episodes are very engaging, and i will be watching the rest of the first season, so expect a review for Gundam 00 in the future….
yesterday, june 25, 2009, michael jackson passed away at UCLA medical center due to cardiac arrest. I send all my condolences and prayers to his 3 children and the rest of his family and friends. we lost a music legend today, as well as farrah fawcette and ed mcmahon, what a sad week.

Unholy Confessions-great hardcore song with a melodic chorus,false ending makes the song for me 5/5
Chapter Four-obviously about genisis chapter 4, one of my favorites on the album, just excellent, the chorus, verses, scream breakdown, everythin5/5
Remenissions-one of the heaviest on the album, excellent intro, breakdown makes the song for me, and the acoustics fit perfectly for me 5/5
Desecrate Through Reverence-a personal favorite,its just amazing, but very underappreciated 5/5
Eternal Rest-INSANE SONG IT WILL MELT YOUR FACE MOFO! 5/5
Second Heartbeat-an epic song clocking in at exactly 7 minutes, its excellent, but can get tiring at times 4.5/5
Radiant Eclipse-nice song, has a creepy atmosphere, another of my favorites, its just good 5/5
I Won’t See You Tonight Part One- the longest song on the record, and the best, just listen to it, its literally that good 5/5
I Won’t See You Tonight Part Two-see eternal rest for description 5/5
Clairvoyant Diesease- the most unique song on the album, the vocals are very good here and the bridge is awesome 5/5
… And All Things Will End-the guitars are amazing, the vocals, everything, this is the best song on the album, and the ending is awesome, i love this song 5/5

Ok, i have some ‘splainin to do, first of all, the Waking The Fallen review is coming, i just haven’t had time, and the new killswitch engage album is streaming on myspace, so lets review!
Killswitch engage is a band from massachussets. they make great metalcore music, and their newest (second) self titled album is straming and will be out in a week, is it a masterpiece? or is it metalcore’s st. anger? see in this track by track review.
Never Again-starts out very well, with screaming and all. verrry metal. GREAT chorus, guitar work is nice, back up vocals are nice and work.nice breakdown indeed. nice opener. 5/5
Starting Over-Another excellent intro with random shouts lol. great power chording at the start.cheesy lyrics, but its killswitch, what do you expect? Ok chorus. lovin the random drum solo lol.i love the bridges in this song!breakdown is good, and more shabby choruses, but it works. 4/5
The Forgotten-Driving intro starts this as a could be anthem, then goes in a different direction.chorus is good as well.i absolutely love the metallica-esque riffs in the verses.the guitar interlude to breakdown is excellent.very reminicent of As daylight dies. 4.5/5
Reckoning-I absolutely love this song, from the chorus to the verses to the-well, everything is excellent, way too short though.very killswitch 5/5
The Return-Starts very slow ans quiet, then picks up with howard singing softly (which is unheard of) this song has a quality that words cant explain to me, it moves me. the chorus is the highlight, the most unique so far, i absolutely love it, even more than reckoning, ladies and gents, the new “end of heartache” 5/5
A Light In A Darkened World-Starts off with fast instruments and screaming. chorus is very power chord heavy and singing is top notch, too short at 2:50, has a message saying “get yo ass up and stand up for wut u believe in son!” good song 4/5
Take Me Away-holy shiznat bizzynatch, this solo at the beginning is sexy, and howard’s singing is similar to The Return, great lyrics, excellent chorus, great song 5/5
I Would Do Anything- weird intro, but i love it Back to the screaming, lovin this, very metal, very killswitch, chorus is great, but does not live up to the inro, incredibly fast, but well paced. incredible riffs in this song, the instruments steal the show here 4.5/5
Save Me-another good intro,very melodic, harmonized guitars are used alot in this one, a speechy breakdown like “daylight dies”, mix between daylight dies and rose of sharyn. good song 3.5/5
Lost-starts slow and nice, dual vocals is different at the start, nice verses, chorus is excellent, sing-along-able, very nice song, i can see this being a hit with new listenerprobably the slowest song on thi record 4/5
This Is Goodbye-fitting name lol, as it is the last song here.fade in intro, very unique for them, very fast in the verses, great harmonizations, the screaming makes a comeback, excellent chorus, its obviously about wanting to die, and its fitting, as the theme is rejection and fading away in this album.dare i say *gasp* better than “reject yourself”, the last album’s closer, very heartfelt. great 5/5
well, that was an excellent album, pick it up and dont have any second thoughts, listen to it on myspace first though if you are already a fan, it might dissapoint you

1. To End The Rapture- A 1 minute intro,shows off M.Shadows’ singing. great solo 5/5
2. Turn The Other Way-Excellent intro, starts off great. fluid screaming I love this song.. great way to really start the album 5/5
3. Darkness Surrounding- once again, great, yet suprising intro (just listen to it) very melodic, yet chaotic 5/5
4. The Art Of Subconcious Illusion- People go nuts for this song, to me, it is sub-par, yeah it is creepy, but its not that great, but it is still a good song 3/5
5.We Come Out At Night- One of my favorite songs on this album, drum intro is mind-blowing, the melodic parts catch you off guard. the soulful piano outro is Excellent, i could listen to this song again and again 5/5
6. Lips Of Deceit- EPIC intro,it is amazing this song blows away some of the songs later on in the album, this song is great! 5/5 (FACTOID: Lips Of Deceit was one of the suggested names for the band)
7.Warmness On The Soul-this is the soft song on the album. starts out slow,its ok..the guitar solo was good and the rest of the song was overall good…4/5
8.An Epic Of Time Wasted-My favorite song on the album,everything is great, the screams, the rhythm, just everything. 5/5
9. Breaking Their Hold- CRAZY nuff said 4.5/5
10.Forgotten Faces-This song is everywhere, its punk, its screamo, its extreme, very orgasmic 5/5
11. Thick And Thin- Obviously about family, builds up over time and gets better and better, chaotic at times, i love it 5/5
12. Streets- M. Shadows was originally in a punk band, and this was one of their songs. very nostalgic this song just has a charm to it
13. Shattered By Broken Dreams- Acoustic,7 minutes long, written for a friend (see history blog) about the 3 to four minute mark it gets heava and it gets better, my second favorite song on this album, excellence 5/5
Well, STST is an excellent album, and above is 13 reasons to get this album.

Formed from the minds of M.Shadows (vocals), The Rev (drums), Zacky Vengaence (rhythm guitar), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), and Johnnt Christ (bass) in long beach, california Avenged Sevenfold (A7X) was made. A7X made their first demo while in high school entitled “Warmness on the Soul” which had 4 songs featured on their debut album “Sounding the Seventh Trumpet”… STST was released on good life records, then re-realeased on Hopeless records. STST was released in 2001. A song called “Shattered by Broken Dreams” was written about their first bassist when he tried to commit scuicide, then was sent to a mental institution (ironically, his name was Justin Sane). after recruiting Johnny Christ and Synyster Gates, the band recorded their critacally acclaimed second album. Waking The Fallen. After popping a blood vessel in his throat after screaming so much on tour, M.Shadows had to have a small surgery on his throat. After being trained by Axl Rose’s vocal coach, Shadows was able to record the 3rd album with A7X…. City of Evil. This album has gone gold and is hands down their breakthrough album. With “Bat Country”, the band won best new artist from MTV, even though this was on their third album. A7X reached superstardom with their self-titled album, said to be their best (or worst) album, this album is full of hits. now A7x has a live dvd called “live at the LBC/ Diamonds in the Rough” DITR is an album with 7 b-sides, 2 covers, and 2 remixes from the sessions of the self-titled album. Avenged Sevenfold is now a very respected band in the metal world today, and now we are all wondering what the hell are they going to do next?

Released just a few months after its 360 and PS3 siblings, Rock Band II finally rocks the wii
STORY—- You are a rock band and you must rise….No one cares *sigh*
SOUND/MUSIC—- Its a music game… it has to be good! So this game has a little bit of everything. Pop,Classic Rock,Metal,Punk, and even a rap song appear in this game, the music sounds crisp and its just like blasting Metallica on your stereo
GRAPHICS—- The graphics are ok, you wont be looking at them anyway, but they are great for the wii considering its low processing power.
GAMEPLAY—- Multiplayer is where this game shines. Playing A7X with friends has never been better. The online is seamless, and the download options are endless! This game will keep you busy for a while
OVERALL—- This game is the Super Smash Bros. of music games, it never ends, its better with friends, and possibilities are endless, the guitar is excellent, the mic is responsive, and those drums kick butt, for a small fee of 189.99, its a great bargain

Blood,Sex,Money??? sounds like a good game to me!
STORY——You are Travis Touchdown, an average joe that innocently bought a beam katana (Lightsaber?) off of ebay. Now he is an assassin (ranked 11) that must kill all 10 of the top assassins to live in peace.
GRAPHICS—–These graphics are cel-shaded, yet have detail to it, it somewhat works for this game, notably the beam katana’s beam going all fizzle-fozzle…purty….
SOUND & MUSIC—–The voice acting is hilarious and cheesy at times.The music is very techno based (reminds me of mindless self indulgence)The sound effects arent awesome,but they work.
GAMEPLAY—- The game has a charm to it.No More Heroes is a short and fun game,and if you get everything, you get THE REAL ENDING, very cool… I love this game,and I am so exited for the 2010 No More Heroes:Desperate Struggle!
I give this game a 9.8 out of 10
